Dell Opttiplex No Port for Modem

We have a small computer shop and buy used off lease equipment…
Dell Optiplex system does see a PCI or ISA modem with Comm ports set to COMM 1, COMM2 in bios or AUTO in bios settings.
Installed both PCI WIn Modems and ISA USR
Any Ideas
