Deployment of a SAN. Steps by step

Could you please tell the differents steps need to deploy a SAN.
I?m look for domething like this.

1) Install Network technology
install the switch
inset GBIC
upgrade switch firmware
install the hub
connect switch to hub

2)Install disk Storage
insert hard disk in canisters
upgrade firmware
conect disk array to switch

3) Install HBA in host
insert HBA in the slot
upgrade firmware
install drivers in host
