Dial Up Connection Box

MicroSoft notified this office of a critical update for Explorer 5.5. So it was updated to SP 2.

After having done so, each time this terminal logs off the net, the Dial Up Connection Box appears on the screen after a few seconds.

This problem has been thoroughly explored through all the settings and the System Information Screen for connectivity.

Can anyone explain why this occurs? Is there any remedy to eliminate this problem?
