Diefference Between Jini and Talarian Sm

What is the defference between the SUN Jini and the Talarian SmartSocket offereings? It appears that both are Middleware products belonging to the Enterprise Framework type with the effect of providing Universal Enterprise Connectivity. Jini of course caters mainly to Java environment; however, SmartSocket’s Java Message seems to provide same. Has anyone done a comparsion between the two products?
