Disk partitions

Unable to remove an Extended DOS partiton. Fdisk will not remove because it thinks logical drives exist and there are none. After selecting the option to remove logical drives, restart the system and attempt to delete Extended DOS partition, same error. Using Win98 Fdisk. Partiton was previously NT4.0.
