DNSSearchOrder

I have a workstation That thinks it is the DNS host. I’ve never seen this happr=en. How can you tell thw desktop to search for the actual DNS. In other works when I do a network diagnostic, The DNSSearhOrder fails, and the DNSHostName comes back as the desktop.
