Do you think Microsoft

Is pricing itself into extinction? I read a few news articles about the dropping prices of pcs and how MS keeps increasing the cost of their O/S. As pcs get below $500 it will cost more to install Windows and other of their products then its worth. I here more and more about using BSD, Linux and other less costly O/S. What do you think?
