Dos printing issues

We are having difficulty printing properly from a dos application to our dot matrix printer. We can print fine for the first document but when we have multiple users attempting to print documents these documents become out synch and do not paginateproperly. All documents originate from a Dos program go into a Novell print queue attach to a printer attach to a print server. We are using NW4.2 recently upgraded from NW3.12 in which the same problem existed.

Can someone offer some suggestions? Thank you..
