Drive Identification and Partitioning

I am assembling a workstation which includes a Floppy Drive, CD Drive, Zip Drive and a 20 GB Hard Drive.

How do I identify the drives if I make two partitions on the Hard Drive, bearing in mind that the network Drive identification begins at F?
Which is best, using the 20 GB Hard Drive as one partition or make two partitions?
