driver fails to load

Recently the system administrator reinstalled win95 on my laptop and as a result i’ve lost all drivers for my sound card. Obtained the a self extracting file which would setup itself through winshield. however, whenever i try to install the driverit fails.

The main reason for concern is that when i start up the computer a dialog box states that the MSSBLST.VXD driver either fails to load or hardware settings is not correct.

Would really appreciate help in getting rid of this problem:)
