Driver for Windows 3.1 Problem

386 machine, windows dos v.6.22/windows 3.1 I have installed several mouses and the driver work in dos but will not work in windows. Windows comes up but the cursor will not move. I have tried changing com ports but the only one that will work iscom 1 in dos only. I have tried microsoft mouse and several others. Mine is a serial mouse. Can you help.
