Drivers for SGI 1600SW monitor

I am using a SGI 1600SW monitor with Rev IV Hawkeye driver.

The only resolution available to fill the screen is 800×512. A number of programs require different resolutions.

Is another driver available that would allow different screen resolutions, yet allow full usage of the screen area?
