Dual Boot Windows XP with DOS

I have a computer that was preinstalled with winXP and I want to dual boot it with DOS. I need step by step instructions (everything from where to get DOS and its needed drivers, to making sure that winXP is the default OS). If I can do this for free then I would be much happier.
