DVD Player not working

PC Friendly was mistakenly installed on my PC rendering Cinemaster inoperable, even after uninstalling Friendly. I have uninstalled Cinemaster and reinstalled it but still get the error message “Another application is using your DVD player.” Was going to restore a past registry via scanreg but the dates didn’t go back far enough. There must be someway to get all of the PC Friendly files out without reformatting. Can anyone tell me how?
