DW.EXE error at startup

For the last couple of days I have been receiving the following error message: “DW has caused an invalid page fault in module DW.EXE at 017f:0043122c…” NOTE – IT STARTED AFTER DOWLOADING THE NEW VERSION OF KAZAA, 1.7.2 .

I have done a search for DW.EXE and found a site describing what it is and how to rectify the error, but it gives conflicting descriptions. I am going here because your advice sofar has been helpful and explicative.
