Easy 100 points!! FTP Basic Help

I am a virgin at setting up an FTP site. I would like some knowledgable person to recommend commercial FTP server software that is EASY (great documentation) and SECURE. Tried 4 shareware ones and could not connect. FTP server would be installed on NT 4.0 SP6a (without IIS) and SQL 7.0 installed and setup.
