The article by Roger Sessions was totally one sided, although cleverly appearing to be very unbiased.
The cost of EJB does not have to be on Unix only: EJB can run very efficinent;y on windows platforms also: the portability feature is what makesit very attractive. The author compares and likens EJB to Tuxedo, whereas Tuxedo was not built for portability at all.
In other words, there was no reference to price and cost of EJB on Windows vs. COM on Windows.
