Hi,
I am working on a laptop made by Chembook. It has a Celeron 366 with 64 mb of ram. The customer said he was getting an error message of Wait HDD. I did see the same message while I was working on it. the HDD seems to freeze periodically and themessage Wait HDD in a small blue rectangular box appears. The customer leaves the laptop on most of the time. I am not familiar with laptops but did notice the fan on the bottom is not spinning at all. Is this message an indidcation that the system is overheating. I turned the system on ten minutes ago and got the message again.
Any help and direction on where I can find a good resource to show me how to repair and work on laptops would be appreciated.
