Evasive Network Logon Box

I was recently forced to reload Windows 98 over the existing install to replace some missing files. After doing so, the network logon box no longer appeared and would only come back after the user would log off and log back on. I need the logon toappear when the PC is started up! I have a feeling it may be a registry setting, but where might I find that setting and what should the setting be?
