event viewer on server nt 4.0

when i bootup event viewer telsme that crashdump is disable! nt failed to initalize the boot partition paging file for crashdump.
this may be because the system has more than 3.8gb of physical ram.
system was abitbx133raid,p3 1g. two sticks of 256ram 133, and runing nt server 4.0
