Explorer GPF error

I have a Pentium III 700Mhz Quantex computer with Windows 98 2nd Edition Load. I have 5GB free and run norton utilities, scandisk and defrag regularly. I have no viruses. I randomly 3 or 4 times a day get Explorer GPF error. I have my IE5 set as a web browser. I have turned this feature off and I still get the error. I have reinstalled Windows 98 and no luck with stopping the error. It happens randomly so it is difficult to connect it to an application. My guess is it has something to do with “Windows Explorer” or IE 5.0. However the error doesn’t say IE error. It specifically states “Explorer” caused a page Fault at etc. Any solutions would be appreciated.
