Exploring with windows 98/95

I have aPc that has a 6Gb drive partitioned c=2Gb d=4Gb.
1)How can I set up explorer to default to drive D first when I open it, as all my documents are on D.
2) How do I set explorer/network neighborhood to default to view file details?
