I have been getting the blue screen everytime I shut windows down. I have tried to delete some of my running programs; but that only worked for the short term. I am still getting the blue screen. I have a compaq monitor mv920 which I believe could be the problem(since everything from compaq has given me problems)That is the only compaq product I have. I have an intel motherboard, windows 98; a self built system that a former worker put together but he is no longer available to ask questions. I read in the windows help chat compaq monitors are known for their problems with windows and blue screen and suggested I download the most current driver for my monitor. Unfortunately, the site given by windows is not accessible. So my question is two parts; l. Do you think this could definately be the problem and 2.How do I get free monitor driver updates.
