File Status while downloading

We are running a website on IBM HTTP Server v1.3.6.2. When a visitor is downloading a file from our server, TIME LEFT & FILE SIZE is not shown, thats why visitor is unable to understand the time left. Even if we use any download manager like GetRight, it shows “This site does not support resuming”. Give me the solution.
