Floppy Disk Drivers

I installed a new floppy disk drive in my Compaq Presario. Drive made by D-Link. The universal driver in Win 98 (first edition) will not run it. No drivers came with it and I have had no response from D-Link Tech Support. The universal driver isdated 1998 and Windows says it needs an updated driver. I have not been able to find any drivers for floppy drives at any of the driver sites. Anyone know where I can get an updated driver?
