Floppy Drive

I recently installed a new motherboard on a PC.
The first Problem I have is that I keep getting a floppy drive Error. I checked the
connection and everything is in the right slot. But I still get a floppy drive error.
The next thing is my CD drive is label ‘E’ .
what is going on?
Please help.
