I do apologize for the error when I closed my 10,000 point question. I intended to accept your answer and award the share of points accordingly. But I was “timed-out” for being idle for too long. (That?s what
caused the ?User Deleted? as well.) Actually, I wasn’t “idle”, but scrolling down through 140+ answers accepting them and pasting a comment. It took me longer than their “allowed” idle time. I should have
known better than to take so much time.
I find it rather ironic that a question (discussion) posted concerning the how’s and why’s of the “rejections” fell victim to one of the causes. I plan to compile all the opinions and comments and forward them to the appropriate TechRepublic department.
Perhaps they’ll be responsive, perhaps not. Either way, that 10,000 point question was a lot of fun for me. I enjoyed giving away all those points and conversing with fellow TechRepublic members.
I posted a question just for you so I can correctly and fairly award the points that were offered. Just reply to the question with a “howdy-do”, and I’ll accept it, award the points, and close the question.
