I could really use some help with this question.
I am running FrontPage 2000 on a Windows 98 computer, trying to Insert Database Results into an intranet page. I have IIS and the FrontPage Server Extensions installed on an NT Server along with the published “web.”
Whenever I try to connect to Results in an Access 97 database, I get this error:
The server encountered an error while processing a database request.
Detailed information reads:
Server error: Unable to retrieve the list of record sources from a database using the connection string:
DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};DBQ=URL=fpdb/printyr.mdb;UID=ALEX;PWD=yt1300.
The following error message comes from the database driver software; it may appear in a different language depending on how the driver is configured.

I can fool it into connecting to databases by creating a sample connection (to the Northwind database), but I’d really like it to be able to connect correctly on the first try.
I think I have done everything that is required to do this- MDAC 2.1 is installed on both server and client machines, Access 97 is on server and client machines.
Any ideas?
