Good/Bad of HP laptops?

Anyone have any experience with HP laptops? Specifically I’m looking at the Omnibook XE3 and want to know if anyone has first or secondhand experience they are willing to relate. Also, any other suggestions are welcome. I’m looking for the following:
PIII/700 or higher, 128mb RAM, DVD, 20gb drive, built-in floppy, 14.1 TFT, Win2K pro – trying to stay under 2K if possible.
