Hang drg boot, moving prccesr startsit.

I am having problems with a Pc that i just changed from NT 4.0 to 98. When i start it up it hangs before it event gets to the monitor. If a jiggle the processor around a little it seems to jump start the process and continues through a normal boot. If I try to restart, it freezes again after it shuts down. There seems to be now set pattern to when this happens. It will boot fine 6 or 7 times then freeze, also there is no set order to the position that i must move the processor to to get it going.
