Hard disk light allways on in Win2K

I have a dual boot with Win ME and Win2K.
When I boot to ME my system is fine. Win I boot to Win2K my hard drive light is allways on. I have 128mb memory and I dont have a paging problem. I’m wondering if I have a bios problem. Any suggestions!
