Hard Disk Partitioning

I have a Toshiba 4080XCDT laptop but the C drive only shows 500Mb.

When I run FDISK it shows a 5GB extended partition with NO logical drives. BUT whenever I try to delete the extended partition it says there ARE logical drives!

I have tried resetting the bios but to no avail.

Is this a fault in my hard drive?
