I am upgrading my hard drive from a 3 gig to a a 13 gig hard drive.
I am ghost copying my data from the 3gig drive to the 13 gig drive.
The 3 gig drive is partitioned with a C: drive and a D: drive.
I have windows 98, pentium 133 processor, 32 meg Memory.
Why can I only see 4 gigs of the 13 gig hard drive? 2 gigs for drice c:
and 2 gigs for drive d: Is there anything I can
do to use max 13 gig of the new drive?
Do I still need to partition the new drive?
I changed C: and D: toFAT32. No difference. I used the J46 jumper
since these are both Maxtor drives. No difference.
Not quite sure how this FAT 16 works, but that is waht I have on the
3 gig drive.
Will I need to back-up drive, then reformat the new drive?
