Headset, keyboard, mouse not working

I’m a gamer. I load into a game my mic and audio cuts out, if I try to fix the issue by unplugging and plugging back in or turning the headset on/off again then my mouse cursor freezes, and keyboard no longer works until I turn my pc off then on again. only happens when gaming and not every time I load into a game. I just recently updated all drivers to see if that’s a fix to it, but any other recommendations would be appreciated thank you.
