Headset Microphone Problem

I have done some troubleshooting to solve this problem. I took the Windows ME Voice Test on the microphone. The message tells me that I can hear people talking to me on the speakers but that they will not be able to hear me.

At this time, I cannot use voice communication and I am bound to the keyboard. I have tested the headset microphone on other computers and the system works. No faulty microphone or headset.
