About 2 yrs ago I bought a C5500 and it worked fine on my Win98. Then in March I bought a new Dell 8200 with Win XP. Since then I have downloaded the compatible driver 5 times. Wasted many hours and hopes. I have done each properly and followed all directions. It was so hard to give up my MutiPass but I had to sell it. One Problem that it did when I had it was it said that I the wrong ink in the cartridge. The person I sold it to has Win98 and it says the same thing.
Did WinXP do something to it, I never had a problem until I bought the new computer with XP. She is so excited about getting this and I want to be able to fix it for her. HELP HELP
