How do I do this?

by jimt004 . Updated 23 years, 8 months ago

Hello:

I have a problem beyond my current ability. I visited a music site that offers a choice of several MIDI files that will play when people visit your website. The way that it works is that you choose a MIDI that you would like to play. From that choice, they prepare a JavaScript that you can copy for application to your site. In my case here in lies the problem. I have built my Web site with a program that was supplied by the website host. As you might guess is quite easy to use,but on the other hand is also quite limited.

It basically allows you to enter text, insert a picture, and/or format the text structure. The picture option allows you to insert .gif and .jpg types of images. You can then insert an embedded link.

First I verified that my software was up to date. Then I tried several methods to paste the script that appears below into my web page builder, all of the results were negative. I e-mailed and called my text support person, they said that when they put the script in that it made a music box on the page. However I don’t know what a music box looks like, and I had nothing-new on my screen after they said what to do.

What I would like it is to have some kind of picture object, i.e. Music Box, into which I can embedded a link such that it will execute when my web page ( http://www.jamestwigg.com/ ) is accessed.

I have access to FrontPage and FrontPage express, however I don’t have a clue as to how to use them.

Could somebody please help this frustrated old man?

THIS IS THE TEXT/SCRIPT THAT I HAVE:

Jim T.
