HUMAN CENTRIC COMPUTING

Human centric computing, a DARPA project, intends to change the face of computing, networking, and IT entirely with a delivery date as soon as 2010. It is a radical improvement that will eliminate the mouse, keyboard, and possibly the monitor. The systems will interface with you as another person would. It will carry a conversation, listen to your concerns, and take action. Components of the network will be plug and play in nature and many items will have a IP on the WWW so you will be able to ask in plain english to your refrig if you need milk while driving your car! So what does this mean to all those who have certifications and built empires around thier IT systems?
