I/O Magic Sound Card not working……

My I/O Magic soundcard was just installed on my win98 SE machine. The sound is choppy and i have no mic either. The card and driver worked fine on my win95 machine. The directx diagnosis program tells me my card driver has not been tested by the Microsoft Hardware Quality Assurance Labs. I/O magic has a driver for win98 but not win98 SE. I have the win98 driver installed now and have reinstalled both the driver and the card several times….. same problem…. whats happening here?
