Icons in Explorer /nothing beside them

I have a problem with some of my machines. When you are in Explorer, you occassionally get a bunch of the windows icons with no folders or anything listed beside them. It looks something like this.

share name on server name
windows icon
windows icon
windows icon
windows icon
windows icon
and nothing beside the icons
