IE 5.5 causes Windows 2000 to crash

Hello;

Often when I click on a link in IE 5.5 (with sp 1 installed) Win 2000 reboots. There is no warning; just a reboot. In the event log there is this message: WMI ADAP was unable to load the perfproc.dll performance library due to an unknown problem within the library: 0x0
