IE5 porblem

Recently IE5.5 started giving me problems. 2-3 times a day I have to run repair to allow me to use IE5. Has anyone seen this before? I have run my virus program and have no viruses found. I recently changed from a 56k modem to a cable modem. I can still check my mail using Outlook Express. HELP!!
