I just installed IE 6.0 for Win98se recently and have been noticing that shortcuts to javascript (on many different websites) will not work. You click on them and nothing happens. Also shortcuts to some URL’s will not work, yet if you copy the shortcut then paste it in the address bar, no problems. I have been through tools/internet options/advanced and security pages and played around with all the javascript settings, security levels and cookie settings with no luck. I have tried to Restore the previous version of IE (5.5) which never had this problem, and now it does. What haven’t I tried yet? I just want to be able to click a link (any link)and go there without having to copy and paste! I greatly appreciate any advice or references anybody could pass along. Thanks!
