Importing into Outlook Express

I want to import both Contacts and Messages from Outlook 98/Exchange that are on a floppy or CD into Outlook Express. Basically I want to bring contacts and messages from my job to my house. I have found info on technet detailing how to import pstfiles into Outlook Express (Q176267) but that seems to imply they’re on the same computer, and I can’t find a way to point to my files.
