Instal Epson printer in Win98

I removed & reinstalled a printer which had ceased to respond in Windows 98. It was an Epson 660 colour deskjet, and was tested on a different PC and was working. The PC in question was a PII laptop with 64 MB RAM and large hard disk with plenty of space. After installing without problems, I tried to print a test page, but nothing doing. I tried to print a document, without success. What could be the cause of the problem?
