I recently installed more ram. I had 64 meg and I installed another 256mg. At the same time, I installed a CD burner and a logitec camera. Now I cannot run my scanner or my printer or the camera. I had to unplug everything just to get my printerto work. I had to reformat my computer just to get it to run. It would only start in the safe mode. I get a mess of error messages as follows:
“while initializing devise configmg: window protection error. Restart”
and
“you may need to remark (REM) some device drivers from your config.sys file or in our config.sys, you may need to load the emm386.exe drover to load your other drivers into the upper memory blocking.”
and
“windows registry problem – will restart and fit it for you”
and
“terminating thread dut to a stack overflow problem. A VxD, possibly recently installed has consumed too much stack space. Increase the settings of “minsp” in system.INI or remove recently installed VxD’s. There are currently 5 sp’s allocated”
