Internet Explorer error

This is driving me crazy. What could be causing this error?

Iexplore caused an Invalid Page Fault in module Kernel32.dll

This usually happens when I close Internet Explorer and I sometimes have to reboot.

I have Windows 98 on a pentium IIIwith 128 mb ram and a 20 gb hard drive.
