Internet Explorer for Windows 2000

by miss_mary72 . Updated 25 years, 2 months ago

How can I reset the default File Location for IE5 under Windows 2000? The download function is not working after the check was put in the “Always use this location for this type of file” box.

I have tried the “Tools/Internet Options/Temporary Internet Files/Settings/Move Folder”, but the downloads are still failing. I read in at MS help site the article “WINUP: Unable to Download IE Components Using Install on Demand Feature”, but somewhere else it said the old location was still in the registry. How do I change it without doing damage to the computer?
