Invalid DLL Entrypoint

by sean.a.leavitt . Updated 24 years, 3 months ago

I have a computer that gives me the following error message when I open internet explorer and after I hit yes a few times it finally continues: “The dynamic link library is not written correctly. The stack pointer has been left in an inconsistent state. The entrypoint should be declared as WINAPI or STDCALL. Select YES to fail the DLL load. Select NO to continue execution. Selecting NO may cause the application to operate incorrectly.” I have found a technet article (Q117330) that talks about a c compiler. This is not a machine that does any coding or compiling and I am wondering how to get rid of the error.
