invalid page fault

when i try to shut my computer down from start menu i get an error stating cpqdfwag caused an invalid page fault in module,unknown. at 0000=10001c6b i have a compaq presario 5460 windws 98se 475mhz with223 ram ie5.0 also my computer fails to shut down it just stays on
